Top Draft Lacrosse, a division of Top Draft Sports Management (Est. 2007), has quickly added top lacrosse minds and strategic business partners to our team in order to grow Top Draft Lacrosse in to a premier lacrosse management company.  With five regional offices across North America and our head office minutes from Canada's Parliament Hill, Top Draft Lacrosse (TDL) is able to provide our staff and clients with round-the-clock mentoring and guidance in all corners of North America.

 

Our front office consists of current professional lacrosse players, former NCAA players, former NHL executives, B.Comm, Sports Admin, Engineering and Kinesiology graduates, and some of the brightest lacrosse development staff you will find. We have negotiated contracts at every level of sport from pro to college to junior, and we are well versed in the NCAA protocol having spent the last 13 years helping aspiring athletes reach their NCAA dreams.

 

 

What does the position entail?


Area Scouts:

The candidates will be responsible for scouting and servicing current TDL clients and scouting potential new clients. From minor lacrosse to high school to junior, the candidate will establish a scouting network at all levels of play and seek out players that fit our company's criteria. Scouting and expense reports to be submitted on a timely manner, creating depth charts of prep and college programs, communicate with players and families via phone calls, emails and in-person meetings.

 

College Advisors:

Work directly with current TDL clients and their families. Establish and build a client list that reflects our mission statement and company values. Work diligently to promote all TDL athletes and interact directly with team and school personnel. Develop the client's game through game evaluations, training programs and video review. 


What are the requirements?

 

•  All candidates must possess a strong knowledge of the game and the ability to identify potential prospects.


•  A college or university degree in economics, business, sports administration or sport law is preferred, but not mandatory.

•  All applicants must possess the ability to keep composure in high pressure situations.  Negotiation skills, outstanding people skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.


•  Flexibility to work nights and weekends is a must.
